Black lentils are high in protein and fiber, and just half a cup of cooked black lentils contains about 12 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber, a powerful combination that can keep us full and energized for much longer than other foods.
Black lentils are extremely tasty, they are characterized as the caviar caviar and one of their properties is that they are more easily digested than the classic lentils.
They do not need soaking at night. We wash them and put them in the double amount of water without salt to boil on low heat for 20-30 minutes depending on how we like them.
